Canopy Table Lamp

The Canopy Table Lamp keeps its structure visible. Curved cane ribs form an open dome above a tapered base, so the lamp's outline is as important as its illumination. The open shade introduces a pattern of lines rather than a continuous solid surface.

Handmade in Bali and imported by Artessy, it belongs to the natural cane lighting collection. Its shade and base repeat the same visual language at different scales, giving the single lamp a coherent shape that can be appreciated both illuminated and in daylight.

For a bedroom, one idea is to pair it with a simple bedside table and a plain wall behind the shade. On a console, a restrained grouping of books or a single decorative object could leave enough visual space for the canopy to stand out.
