Coastal Waves Bathroom Vanity

The painting begins with water, foam and the curve of a breaking wave, then leads the eye towards a sandy shoreline and palms. Its colours cross the cabinet's two doors and four drawers instead of stopping at each opening. The result reads as a landscape first, while the useful divisions of the furniture remain part of the composition.

Only Mpofu carries the coastal scene over the top and onto the sides, giving it something to reveal as you move around the cabinet. Blue water meets warm sand, with green palms adding a darker vertical note. Gold-toned door handles and small drawer knobs punctuate the painted surface without replacing the landscape as the main focus.

A possible room pairing would be a simple mirror, pale walls and textiles in white or one of the painting's blues. That approach could give the moving water room to stand out while keeping the surrounding space calm. Install the rear of the vanity flush against the bathroom wall.
