R7,500
Per piece · delivery quoted separately
A white cement shell rises in textured folds around a warm inner glow. Coral Glow combines narrow openings and uneven sculpted tips, giving a floor lamp the presence of an open, upright sculpture.
Enquire about this pieceEnquire by emailThe story
The lamp's character begins with its surface: hand-shaped cement gathered into narrow, irregular folds around a hollow centre. Small openings interrupt the white shell, while taller tips rise to different heights above it. These details give the outline an open quality, with spaces and edges that are as important to its appearance as the solid material.
Light from within becomes visible through the perforations and between the raised forms. The warm glow contrasts with the pale, rugged cement, drawing attention to the shell's depth and texture. In daylight, the uneven surface remains the main visual feature; when illuminated, the openings create a different pattern across the same sculptural form.
For a living-room, entrance or lodge interior concept, consider a quiet background and simple surrounding furniture that allows the tall outline to remain legible. Timber or a restrained stone surface could complement the cement without adding another strong pattern. The lamp is 150 cm high, with a diameter of 50 cm.
