Wild Heritage Dining Table

Wild Heritage begins with a respect for material that already carries a story. Its tabletop is made from reclaimed sleeper wood, with deep lines, cracks, marks and an aged surface left as part of its character. Those details give the table a sense of history, making the material's journey visible within the finished piece.

Below the top, two natural tree trunks create a sculptural foundation. Artessy's search, selection, working and finishing of these trunks extended over more than three months. Their organic forms were refined for the table while retaining the curves, movement and irregularities that make real wood distinctive.

The relationship between top and base is the heart of the piece. The broad sleeper-wood surface brings the evidence of time and use; the trunks contribute a wilder, more fluid shape. Together, they create a dining table that feels grounded and substantial while remaining expressive rather than uniform.

At 200 cm long and 120 cm wide, the table offers a generous centrepiece for gathering. Consider it in a lodge dining room, a wine-estate interior or a home that pairs natural materials with quieter surroundings. Simple seating could keep the reclaimed top and the two tree-trunk forms clearly in view.
