Root Essence Coffee Table

The Root Essence Coffee Table works with the natural connection between root and trunk. Every curve, hollow, knot and change of texture belongs to the tree's individual form, making the base something to look at from different sides. It is this organic movement, rather than a repeated furniture pattern, that gives the piece its identity.

Made from reclaimed hardwood, the base receives a new role through Artessy's handcrafting. The design keeps the material's raw beauty present within the finished furniture. Its character comes from real wood and the shape nature created, with the individual details of the root giving the table its strongest visual presence.

The clear glass top is essential to that balance. It offers a practical surface for daily use while allowing the root and trunk to remain visible below. The table can sit comfortably within a modern interior without losing the warmer, more grounded feeling of the natural material at its centre.

Consider it beside a quiet sofa arrangement, in a lodge lounge or within a guesthouse reception where the base can be seen clearly. Leaving the glass lightly styled would keep attention on the sculptural wood. The table is a reminder of nature within the room, bringing texture, individuality and a calm sense of connection.
